Marta, a part of the Kajashiwou community from Sandoná, Colombia
The Kajashiwou community makes baskets from the toquilla or Mawisa shovel that they find in the La Macuira mountain range. This beautiful profession arises from their need to cover their faces from the desert sun in Nazareth, in La Guajira. from which different types of products have been generated, such as bags and baskets.
